1% For Asheville:

We were founded on a park bench in downtown Asheville.   Armed with a typewriter, Ernest Daniels started what would become Brightbell Virtual Receptionist in the late 40’s.   Jim Daniels,  Ernie’s son would go on to become sort of the unofficial ‘mayor’ of Asheville.  He was a founder of the Downtown Association,  Asheville GreenWorks, the Bele Chere street festival, among many other contributions and accomplishments.  He loved this town and had a vision for what it could be.  Today,  Jami Daniels is the third generation owner of the business.  Many of our customers are still local.  Most of our employees are still local.  Luckily,  since Covid our team is remote,  and it allowed us to support our customers during a time of complete chaos and loss of connectivity.   There is no doubt that Asheville will rebuild,  and rebuild stronger. We fully intend to be a part of that effort.  We are pledging 1% of sales for November and December to the Community Foundation of WNC’s Hurricane Helene Relief and Recovery Effort.   Join Us.
